So, I told you guys in my 'Ready to OWN 2013' post that I want to incorperate more real estate geared posts into my blog this year. Yes, think 'how to save for a down payment' --'costs of homeownership' -- 'how to add value to your home' -- 'how to add character to your home' -- but not all of it is going to be quite that serious.
That's where 'Gifted!' comes in. This is going to be a little mini series where I spotlight interesting housewarming gift ideas, decorating ideas, or home related products. Whether I find these little joys on the web, on pinterest, or in real life, I plan on sharing the finds with you guys! Because face it, we all enjoy the fun stuff every now & then.
Plus, this will help me come up with new ideas for closing gifts for my clients. You guys can give me a 'yay' or 'nay' on whether it's something you would enjoy.
So without further adeiu... I present to you the first round of 'Gifted!'
Option 1: Customizable Vino [for the drinkers]
Face it. Wine is a great hostess or housewarming gift. But at times it can seem a bit thoughtless, right? Yeah, you can get a cute bag to go with it, but why not a cute label instead?? You could customize with names, dates, or even a cute little message like 'Welcome Home! 5/6/12' for a unique housewarming gift. [or in my case, closing gift for my clients]. Print the labels seen above here.
Option 2: Customizable Jewelry [for the fashionistas]
Have a friend that just moved to a new city or state? [or relocation clients for yours truly!] Think outside the box & get her a unique customizable necklace so she can show love to her new city! I would LOVE to get one of these showing off Louisville, KY. Might have to do just that! Here is the Etsy shop where you can purchase.
Option 3: Custom Latitute/Longitude Print [for the nerd in us all]
Please go buy this for any of your friends as a housewarming present! Who would not LOVE this??
What an awesome way to mark your new home :) You can purchase it from THIS.
So which would be your favorite gift to give or receive? I'll take one of each, please. Ha ;)
