Rental House ReDo - After Pics!

Sunday, April 8, 2012

Hello pretties & Happy Easter to you! Let me just say I soo miss the days of hunting for eggs, anybody else?? Anyways... you guys know Jason & I had been working on re-doing his rental house over the last month or so, but I'm just now getting around to posting the after pics!! For those of you who don't remember seeing the before pics, they are HORRIBLE! See for yourself...

Ummm yeah this is how a former renter left the joint. Yuck! But after a ton of cleaning, new windows,  new flooring, all new paint, new light fixtures & a lot of time, this is the end result!

Well there you have it, the rental re-do. What about the outside you ask? Well, one, we still need to paint the front porch and landscape. Two, I forgot to take a picture :) Sorry! But outside, we painted the siding a blue/grey color, painted the roof black instead of that godawful blue, painted the shutters black, & painted the front door red. I think it looks 100% better & the new renter is quite happy with the outcome! What do you guys think??

I'm loving all the colors you guys chose for the inside! WTF why would someone leave their rental looking like that?!

Good choices for the re-do. I can't believe someone left the place in such bad condition!

Thanks girls! And I don't know what some people are thinking. No matter if you rent or own it's still your home. You would think you would want it to be a nice, clean place... apparently not everyone thinks this way. Jason has a good one now though, thank god!
