Sometimes you just need to have a 'Me Day'.
A day dedicated just to you.
A day to be selfish.
Not a day to catch up on laundry, cleaning, grocery shopping...
Just a day to do what you want when you want.
No to-do lists, just in the moment.
Here is what my perfect 'Me Day' might look like... Care to join me?
-waking up with no alarm
-a venti skinny cinnamon dolce latte
-a fun new exercise class, maybe pure barre
-a long shower & plenty of time to get dressed
-thrifting
-a Target & Home Goods run to buy things I want but don't need
-a healthy lunch somewhere I've never tried before. Maybe thai. Or sushi.
-facial
-walking around Hobby Lobby exploring.
-a long walk with Kobe on the trails
-a sweet treat.. or two. [I worked out after all. Ahem.]
-a
-napping on the couch
-going to bed early
Ahhh... I feel relaxed just thinking about it.

That sounds like a pretty great "me day"! I'd sleep in late, wear no makeup, eat some good fast food {lol}, and browse some Goodwills. :)

Me days are definitely hard to come by/non existant around my house.
Sam, I literally just got swept up in your perfect day daydream! This would be my perfect perfect day. One minor change I might make to mine... a bad guilty change, I would swap out the healthy lunch for something really guilt inducing. like a trip to In & Out or a swank pizza joint! Yummmm!

Hi Sam - new follower here! Saw a comment you left on The Small Things Blog and wanted to check out your page! This day actually sounds pretty close to perfect!! I may add in a few girly tv shows that I never get to watch when the boyfriend is around, but other than that it sounds dreamy!! ;)
oh if only i had the luxury of a day to myself.. an hour maybe.. just maybe.. but anything more is just a dream.

Sounds like a blissful day to me! I had a "me" day on Wednesday, but it involved laying around all day. Hehe
